Mountain Rifleman
Course Description
This 3-day course at Range 1 prepares the shooter for engagements in a mountainous environment. Ideal for those who wish to hunt or employ their rifle with extreme precision within mountainous environments and those who wish to learn basic through advanced techniques in a short period of time.
This course covers select curricula from each of our LRPR Level 1, 2, and 3 courses over a 3-day period.
Topics Covered:
- Scope Mounting and Zeroing Techniques
- Rifle Set-up
- Fundamentals of Marksmanship
- Use of Tripods, Bipods, Range Finders, and other Modern Equipment
- High Angle Shooting (Up and Down) in a Mountainous Environment
- Advanced Ballistics and Kestrel Instruction
- Cross Terrain Feature Engagements
- Hasty Positions / Rapid Firing Position Construction Techniques
- Environmental Effects and Advanced Ballistics
Required Equipment
- Rifle capable of holding 1.0 MOA (1.0 inch group) or smaller at 100 yards
- Optic with modern ranging reticle
- 300 rounds of match grade ammunition (minimum)
- Shooting Tripod
- Rear Bag / Barricade Shooting bag
- Kestrel 5700
*All required equipment can be rented or will be provided from Razorback Tactical*

Upon registration you will be prompted to complete a background check. Failure to complete or pass background check prior to course results in automatic disenrollment and refund minus service fees.
